Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the hosted Till service operated as a DBH Ventures product by David Hurley. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Till is an early customer beta. New accounts are manually onboarded while verified-email signup is being completed. No uptime SLA, enterprise support commitment, on-premises distribution, SSO, or regulatory certification is included unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to enter a binding agreement and use Till for lawful business or development purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information and for every action taken with your admin key or scoped tokens. Credentials are bearer secrets; store them securely and revoke exposed scoped tokens promptly.

The service

Till proxies requests to third-party AI providers selected by you and applies configured usage controls. Activation and conservative token/spend capacity are reserved before forwarding budgeted requests, then settled to provider-reported usage. Budgeted generation requests require a declared output-token cap, and spend-limited requests require a model in Till’s pricing table. Till’s estimate may differ from the provider invoice. Do not treat a Till spend budget as a substitute for provider-side budgets, alerts, and invoice monitoring.

Your responsibilities

Plans, billing, and upstream charges

Published plans and monthly service limits are shown on the pricing page. Existing account holders must authenticate with their tenant admin key to start an upgrade. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew until canceled. Provider API charges are separate and payable directly to the provider. Till may reject or pause requests after account limits are reached. Taxes, refunds, credits, special terms, and cancellation effective dates are governed by the checkout terms and applicable law.

Beta changes and suspension

Features, limits, integrations, and pricing may change during beta. We may suspend access to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, address nonpayment, or prevent harm. Where practical, we will notify affected active customers. You may stop using Till at any time and cancel paid service through the billing portal when available.

Ownership and feedback

You retain rights in your content and credentials. Till and its service software, branding, and documentation remain the operator’s property. You grant Till the limited rights needed to transmit and process data to provide the service. Feedback may be used without restriction or payment.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every provider feature, exact usage estimates, or that controls will prevent every unwanted charge or security event.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Till and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for third-party provider charges. Aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Till for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where practical. Use the contact method supplied during beta onboarding for contractual notices; do not send credentials.
